Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
-Assure that products are compliant with NDT specification(s) and VF quality standards
-Calibration of equipment and record keeping
-Document daily/monthly logs and records
-Fill out NCF's, if issues are found with required information.
-Follow and establish W.I. and Procedures
-Safety Sensitive Position
-Other duties as needed or required

Work Environment:
-Primary work environment is the office and the production floor.

-Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
-Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift.
-Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.
-While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required.
-Employee maybe required to lead production shop tours.
-Employee will have meetings in the shop requiring the wearing of personal protective equipment.
-Ability to assist a machine operator to understand process flow.
-Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.
-Able to operate office equipment such as computers, copy machines, etc.
-Able to sit for prolonged time periods plus occasion walking to stooping.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
-Ability to use all basic types of hand inspection equipment, i.e. hand tools (height gauge, caliper(s), micrometer(s))
-Basic computer knowledge (MS programs & company server)
-Must be able to work well with other departments and how to prioritize job duties
-HS Diploma or GED is mandatory
-Strong work ethic and integrity is a MUST, as well as ability to practice discretion when having access to or handling confidential information.
-Strong verbal, written and team working skills
-Basic agility duties
-Must be able to pass - Visual examination - Near vision acuity & color contrast
-Mechanical aptitude
-Self-motivate
-Must be willing to learn the following:
       *NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) disciplines in MPI, LPI & UT w/credentials as Level II extreme plus (Including Hardness, Magnetic Particle & Ultra-Sonic)
    *Credentials at a minimum shall meet latest, NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A qualifications.
